Also, for reassurance, we should mention that neither this blog post nor the website will self-destruct in 5 seconds or at any time.
Hmm… well, on second thought, we can’t reassure you for certain, as our lead small molecule, RRx-001 (nibrozetone), which derives from a component in rocket fuel, is a class 1 explosive, meaning that it presents a significant blast hazard – at least during manufacture, which makes it a very fraught enterprise.
Also, cancer is “self” so, from this perspective, self-destruction is exactly what we’re after.
However, we hasten to point out that this phrase, “Remission Possible”, is more than just a clever tagline to us. What it means is that both of our lead therapies, RRx-001 (nibrozetone) and AdAPT-001, have the potential to put not only cancer, but other conditions like severe oral mucositis, neurodegenerative diseases, cardiopulmonary diseases, and endometriosis, in abeyance i.e., to make their manifestations less severe and intense or even to make them disappear entirely.
We can’t say “Remission Definite”, not yet anyway, but, hopefully, one day we will, because preclinical and clinical indications are that partial or even full remission is far from impossible with either RRx-001 (nibrozetone) and AdAPT-001 – both alone and in combination.
So, please stand back, and let us rephrase – cancer and other diseases will destruct in 5, 4, 3, 2, 1.
