“A real brew-haha”.

Q: “I’ve been having trouble getting to sleep this week and getting up for work in the morning. What can I do?” -Sleepless in San Diego

A: We have a diagnosis: Daylight Saving Time itis (DST-itis), which we have blogged about here. DST-itis occurs when the clocks “spring forward” or back an hour and disrupt the internal clock or circadian rhythm. The remedy: Vitamin C – for coffee, but preferably at least 6 hours before bedtime. Also spend more time outdoors as the bright light can reset your internal clock to the new time. And don’t forget to change the clock on your microwave, if you can figure out how to do it! And please let us know so we don’t have to wait until November 3rd for it to tell the right time again!
